Taking some time from LYME to enjoy life for a bit

Thought i would ignore the fact that i had chronic Lyme disease for the night and just have some fun for a change. Lo & behold, i had a pretty good time! I had dinner with friends, then off to the chocolate bar for dessert, and dancing at the local dance club. I knew i would have hell to pay the next day but i went ahead and did it anyway. I just crave to be normal and do everyday normal stuff that everyone else does. Even if it is every now & then, it gets me out of the house and Lyme off of my mind. Even if it is just for a few hours. It was totally worth it to laugh & have some fun. It was the perfect distraction. : )

i’ve heard about plum island. I think Pam Weintrieb mentions it in her book “Cure Unknown”. It is all scary stuff but i will look into it more… Thanks!

you should check out a book called “Lab 257″ it’s about plum island and lyme disease. you can google lyme disease+plum island. you may find it interesting it’s about the gov’t involvement with lyme as bacteriological warfare.

Glad you liked the video, even with the Indy 500 in the background : )

Even though i called you & left a message about this question, i will answer it here too because, i don’t remember what i said to you. Currently i just give my dog & cat Heartworm/Flea stuff ( sentinal-dog, revolution-cat). But , i see no mention of tick prevention on either of these : ( Crap!
But, Frontline DOES prevent ticks, also there are tick collars. even seen used around people’s ankle cuffs hiking.

The warm sun looks great. I’m gonna be sure to sit outside for a bit today and catch some sun and read a little. Hope you’ll do the same again!

I really enjoyed this video, I don’t know, something about you being outside and your awesome dog in the shots made me feel good. All the best, please make more videos soon!

so beautiful! even with the traffic. :)

so here’s my annoying lyme-related question: do you put anything on your pets for tick protection, and if so, what? when i finally move out of nyc i’d love for my cats to be indoor/outdoor, but i think i might be too freaked out and keep them inside instead. :/

thanks for sharing this awesome video!
