Researching water and other fluids – turquoise ink drop drying under a darkfield microscope

Is there more to water then its chemical content? Does water have memory? Does it pick up, store and transport information that our state of the arts electronic equipment cannot record yet? More than 70% of the human body is made up of water. More than 70% of this planet is covered by water. It is essential to life. What then, is its essence.. hidden behind its appearance? Is it related to our essence, or only to our physical body? These questions are at the heart of the research we have been conducting over the last 9 years in collaboration with academic and other organizations and interested individuals. The following photos, made by a camera mounted on top of a darkfield microscope, honing in on very small drops of water, diverse liquids and also various bodily fluids, show you the many and varied images we have found in specific waterdrops during our journey into the heart of water. Some of them are photographs of the completely dried drop, others show images which appear in the drop before the drying process has started and some of them have been taken during the process itself.. Water is similar to love. It seems so transparent and yet enfolds thousands of faces and aspects. This research is like Alices walk through the looking glass. One emerges in another country. foreign, unimaginable, wild, beautiful and infinitely profound. There questions loom larger than answers.indeed it becomes a quest into completely unknown territory.
