I hear Coca-Cola is coming out with a line of Stevia-sweetened drinks. That would be nice. I’m tired of drinking JUST water… I still don’t know if I’d trust the Coke company though!

It’s very sweet of you Connie to make all these videos to help others. I wanted to inform everyone the reason why an anti sugar/high carb diet works is because sugar depletes your white blood cells by 40-60%. We need our white blood cells to kill the lyme. Also, if your thyroid is low you will not be able to fight. You need to track your temperature and do self testing because the thyroid tests are inaccurate.

I am not an expert on this, but maybe eating smaller portions would help. Try some peppermint, too. Enzymes and probiotics also aid in digestion.

I take it with lemon juice, it tones down the bitterness of it. You could take it with calcium or a dairy product too, as this would buffer the effects on your tummy. Hope this helps!

I haven’t heard this. You might want to get a second opinion from someone else since I am not an expert on this issue. Thanks

Oh btw, I keep hearing that it’s not good to take Calcium whilst on antibiotics, but I think I’d really struggle badly without calcium supplements and I’ll need to start antibiotics to treat the Lyme Disease. Is there anything that can be done to remedy this problem or will I just have to give up calcium for some months?

Do you have any ideas on keeping the foods down. I’m having a lot of problems with vitamins and eating in general. I try not to reach for Pepto, although it often helps me. I also try to use a little ginger in water; drink that and it helps. I welcome/plead for any other ideas. Thanks for the information on the food and teas.

I was going to recommend quinoa too- isn’t it great! I don’t take as many supplements as you but I think I couldn’t cope without my Calcium Magnesium- my fingernails start to peel and weaken if I miss a couple of them.Changing my diet has helped me but I can’t give up sugar- perhaps I’m too addicted.

Great Video!! I’ve often thought of the value of doing such a thing as this myself, as we all may have something of value to share in this area with others.

When you suffer from an illness such as Lyme, you can and do, become more aware of the difference the value of certain foods, supplements, and
therapies will make in your overall picture of health and well being. The difference is simply amazing, and certainly well worth the time spent in the learning and knowing of all this.

Hi Connie, Thanks so much! I was wondering how you take your ascorbic acid? I have some powered Vit. C, but have troubles taking it (I’ve only tried it in water). Taste (yuck) and it seems to mess with my gut. Thanks again! Sue

    Thanks Connie!
    Yum, i love almond butter…mmmmmm.
Thanks for reminding me to eat more greens. I love them but tend to be too lazy sometimes and go for convenience or sometimes just forget to eat a meal. I am always interested in seeing what supplements others take and was smiling when i saw i took some of the same ones you do. Keep up with the informative videos and Thanks!

That was so much fun to see what you eat. I think you are a little bit better at the whole diet thing than me but I just love my almond butter too.

Hi Guys! Glad the video was helpful. Yes, dietary changes can be really difficult to make, but as you mention, cleric, sometimes making the changes slowly can facilitate the process. I have been eating well for four years and it’s still difficult for me! When I go out with friends, I am always tempted by pies and cakes and wine and I usually lose the battle if the stuff is set right in front of me ;) . I find the only way to not cheat is by keeping good stuff in the house! Thanks, C

Connie, thank you so much. You have been a great help to me through this whole trek. I do not make as many healthy choices as you do yet, but I’m working my way there. I’ve been averaging a diet change a week. When I first got this I tried to do everything at once and it didn’t help my already depressed state. But I’ve quit smoking, I drink about 2 cups of coffee a week instead of 2 pots a day. No more alcohol. I eat mostly salmon and lean turkey for meat. Lots of macadamias and almonds. Spinach
