You may not get better completely, but you can improve to the point that you’ll feel like you got you life back. I have been medicated for 12 years, and I am off medication now for several months without flaring up. I can think and remember, not like before, but well enough that I live a fairly normal life. No pain!!!!!

Hey guys….PLEASE register at the Oprah Winfrey website and let her know how much you would like to see her do a show on Lyme disease. Dr. Oz thinks the “UNDER OUR SKIN” documentary is wonderful but a show about Lyme won’t be done unless she sees lots of interest. Request that LLMDS and patients be the guests so that we can be heard. Also, Daryl Hall would make a great guest. WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER !
God Bless,
Elaine

People, “Chemtrails,” are killing the biological nutrients, supporting all plant life. What do you think that is doing to our immune systems, and that of bees? I have saved a sample of snow, from a storm in late December, that left my hair sticky and gluey feeling. I showered if out immediately. Does anyone know where I can get it tested? In need of one who is trustworthy.

The movie has brought much needed awareness, however, why don’t you post a list of petitions,a list of political representatives that we can contact. Put the links on your page; this will make it easier for those who barely have the energy to move. Please

I read a book years ago, called “Sugar Blues” by William Dufty. An absolute read. He states that during the Bubonic Plague, the rich who could afford sugars, were dropping like flies, the poor country folk who could not, faired well.

Google…..”Low Dose Naltrexone Homepage.” And also here on You tube…”Controlling Lyme Disease,” and see the LDN videos by “TropicalDawg” here as well. I have been using LDN, for just over a week now, and feel the need to pass the buzz. This is a drug that helps with the immune system, inflammation and endorphins. Eat as if you had a yeast problem, because Lyme loves what yeast loves. And no sugars of any kind…”Including Fruit!”

My Lyme specialist is in Carolina. His goal is to wean all patients off antibiotics if possible. He uses antibiotic pulse therapy and is absolutely wonderful.

Thanks to you Dr. B and Dr. Shoemaker for all the work you have done and the lives you have saved. In the near future, more doctors will be looking to you for advice and guidance. Thanks for sticking your neck out. You’ve both made a difference. Bless you both for the sacrifices you have both made in this battle of Lyme disease.

I was very ill with neuroB.. IV cef is working miracles but you need to keep on going until the BBB is clear. As an illness it is horrific.. not some inconvenient chronic pain but a living organism on the march to multiply & kill through dissemmination unless halted by powerful antiBx. I am singer songwriter Lizzie Lane my work can easily be found & have just uploaded “darling” dedicated to all fighting lyme / neuroB. There’s a link to my web from my channel(leesbet). Stay strong. Also, federal report released this week confirming Gulf War Illness real referred to Bromide pills given the soldiers as possible cause. Bromide pills cross the blood brain barrier. Cause, cure, prevention or medical mayhem, aka Nazi eugenics?

See my personal profile for my Lyme history. But still wondering: Disseminated Borrelia (chronic Lyme) or antibiotic (doxy/cefuroxime; crossing blood brain barrier; possibly sending neuro-toxins deep into brain) induced lupus [AKA "Post-Lyme disease syndrome"]? If former, IV ceftriaxone indicated; latter, corticosteroids. Yet neither offered in six years of increasingly debilitating disease.

“PLEASE DON’T FEED THE TICKS”: I was a long distance hiker but contracted Lyme disease. ER doc diagnosed 2002 (tick bite/EM rash). Positive serology. ER doc confirmed diagnosis 2007. Wikipedia Lyme page emphasizes ‘no chronic Lyme’ yet describes disseminated Borrelia/late stage Lyme (?!).
See my personal profile here for more about IDSA conflict of interest, etc.

Has anyone considered? that the heavy spraying of Chemtrails, may have contributed to our susceptability to Lyme Disease?

I have been thru Shoemaker’s protocol and it made a huge difference, so don’t discount it. Of course, any of these protocols require addressing the basics of good nutrition (GF diet and supplements), quality sleep, and exercise to tolerance. And, we each come into Lyme with a unique set of past issues (other chronic infections) that must also be addressed. So, it’s far from just Lyme that needs to be addressed in order to heal. But, healing can certainly happen. Attitude makes a big difference.

heiwalove didn’t say anything about “curing.” “Saving lives” does not mean the same thing as “curing”… “saving lives” means preventing people from dying, not making them completely well. My Lyme treatments have not cured me (it’s true that there is no cure for chronic Lyme)…I’m still very sick in many ways… but they have helped me dramatically, and I would absolutely say that they have “saved my life,” since I would probably not be here without them.

Please see my favorites and the Dennis Kucinich video where he tells Hilary, Obama, et. al, how he was the only one with a specific universal healthcare plan, and that they will only perpetuate an evil system.

Yes, Burrascano said Staph…my son had staph infection followed by a relapse of LD. Maybe all of us w/LD should be tested for Staph as well? Burrascano is the best..wish he was still in practice.

Yes, multiply antibiotic resistant cagulase negative staph (MARCoNS) in the sinuses. Usually requires a combo of antibiotics to cure.

Did they say staph at the end? I have been diagnosed with both staph and lyme. Personally, I think Burrascano has done great things for lyme treatment. HE IS THE PIONEER!

I run a Lyme support group in Texas. I do not know one single member in my group or several other groups throughout the country, who know anyone who has been cured from Lyme, whether the doc has been Burrascano, Harvey, or any LLMD. So saving countless lives is a gross overexaggeration. Many group members are so ill they are not working at all. I appreciate all Shoemaker and Burrascano have done, but cures? I wish!
