Daryl, I’ve had chronic lyme for 6 years, and suspect I’ll have it the rest of my life. Thank you for making the video so that others can know how it impacts us. I get occasional flare ups, and take a couple days of Doxy to get it back into control.

Gulf War Illness…the federal report released last week confirming it linked the disease to Bromide pills given the soldiers. Bromide pills cross the blood brain barrier, as does doxycycline. Cause, cure, prevention or medical mayhem?

See my personal profile for my Lyme history. But still wondering: Disseminated Borrelia (chronic Lyme) or antibiotic (doxy/cefuroxime; crossing blood brain barrier; possibly sending neuro-toxins deep into brain) induced lupus [AKA "Post-Lyme disease syndrome"]? If former, IV ceftriaxone indicated; latter, corticosteroids. Yet neither offered in six years of increasingly debilitating disease.
