Both are slow growing bacteria’s that enter brain, meninges, CNS… as does fat whihc has antimicrobial properties.
The actual number of infected people is probably over 2 million, for the U.S. If Lyme is spread like Syphillis, (since it’s caused by a spirochete), we could have seen just the tip of the iceberg! If so, how many millions might be suffering from this stealth infection? EVERYONE should be concerned about this.
The IDSA position is killing people! We are suffering and dying because we cannot get testing, diagnosis, and treatment! This is just criminal!

Hey guys….PLEASE register at the Oprah Winfrey website and let her know how much you would like to see her do a show on Lyme disease. Dr. Oz thinks the “UNDER OUR SKIN” documentary is wonderful but a show about Lyme won’t be done unless she sees lots of interest. Request that LLMDS and patients be the guests so that we can be heard. Also, Daryl Hall would make a great guest. OPRAH needs to hear about YOUR experience with Lyme disease. I wonder what would happen if Dr.Henry Masur got infected with Lyme disease and could no longer concentrate? What if he tried every-thing else out there and nothing helped?
Do you think he would quit being a doctor ??? No!!….He would probably look for a Lyme specialist or prescribe himself antibiotics. People that have Lyme disease are not idiots. I would love to flush my antibiotics down the toilet but they mean the difference between thinking and not being able to think.
